ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

Final rule establishing an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of oxirane, 2-(phenoxymethyl)-, polymer with oxirane, ether with 2,2′,2″-nitrilotris[ethanol] (3:1), diblock, when used as an inert ingredient in a pesticide chemical formulation. Info here.

FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

Final rule announcing that the FWS, in accordance with the Endangered Species Act are amending the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife by adding Rice’s whale (Balaenoptera ricei). Info here.

Final rule announcing that the FWS is reclassifying the Stephens’ kangaroo rat (Dipodomys stephensi) from endangered to threatened under the Endangered Species Act. Info here.

Final rule announcing that the FWS revised the taxonomy of 16 wildlife species under the Endangered Species Act. FWS is revising the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and other applicable regulations to reflect the scientifically accepted taxonomy and nomenclature of southeastern mussels, snails, and reptile. NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION

Proposed rule proposing to approve changes to the Pacific Halibut Catch Sharing Plan for the International Pacific Halibut Commission’s regulatory Area 2A off of Washington, Oregon, and California. The proposed rule also proposes to implement management measures governing the 2022 recreational fisheries that are not implemented through the International Pacific Halibut Commission. Info here.

Temporary rule closing the southern area Angling category fishery for large medium and giant Atlantic bluefin tuna. This action applies to Highly Migratory Species Angling category permitted vessels and Atlantic HMS Charter/Headboat permitted vessels when fishing recreationally. Info here.

Proposed rule announcing that the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to make amendments to the Agriculture Acquisition Regulation (AGAR) to align the AGAR with changes to acquisition law, regulations, and internal USDA policies since the AGAR’s last major revision in 1996.
