AGRICULTURAL MARKETING SERVICE

Final rule changing the maturity requirements currently prescribed under the Florida avocado marketing order. The marketing order regulates the handling of avocados grown in South Florida and is administered locally by the Avocado Administrative Committee. Info here.

Proposed rule implementing a recommendation from the Far West Spearmint Oil Administrative Committee to establish salable quantities and allotment percentages for Class 1 (Scotch) and Class 3 (Native) spearmint oil produced in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and designated parts of Nevada and Utah for the 2022-2023 marketing year. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

Notice announcing that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and the EPA invite public comment on the agencies’ proposed finding that Texas has satisfied all conditions the agencies established as part of their 2003 approval of the State’s coastal nonpoint pollution control program. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION

Notice announcing that the Food and Drug Administration is announcing that we have filed a petition, submitted by Motif FoodWorks, Inc., proposing that the color additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of myoglobin as a color additive in meat and poultry analogue products. NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION

Proposed rule proposes revisions to regulations that implement the Pacific Fishery Management Council’s Pacific Coast Salmon Fishery Management Plan. This proposed action would remove a rebuilding plan for Sacramento River fall-run Chinook salmon from regulation, as this stock has been rebuilt and is no longer required to be managed under a rebuilding plan. UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
