On August 16, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a 30-day extension for comments on the proposed rescinding of the Waters of the U.S. (WOTUS) rule. Comments are now due September 27. (The pre-publication version of the proposed rule is available here).

On Wednesday, September 6, at 12 noon (ET), the Agricultural and Food Law Consortium presents a free webinar, “Water Law Update.” This program will analyze the status of the Waters of the United States Rule and summarize recent legislative developments and case law from around the country impacting agriculture and agribusiness.
