Penn State Center for Agricultural and Shale Law has posted the Shale Law In the Spotlight: Pennsylvania Senate Passes Proposed Oil and Gas Lease Protection Package. The article discusses Senate Bill 138 and Senate Bill 139. The two bills will allow leaseholders to request documents from oil and gas companies and will prohibit retaliation from the companies against the leaseholders.
