PATRICK MCMORROW v. MONELEZ INTERNATIONAL, INC., Defendant. Additional Party Names: Marco Ohlin, No. 17-CV-2327-BAS-JLB, 2018 WL 5024840 (S.D. Cal. Oct. 17, 2018); Plaintiffs filed a complaint against Defendant Mondelez International, Inc. in November 2017. Plaintiffs alleged they were deceived into buying Defendant’s belVita Breakfast Products and alleged violations of the Consumer Legal Remedies Act, Unfair Competition Law, and False Advertising Law, as well as breaches of express and implied warranties. Defendant filed a motion to dismiss. Before the Court ruled on the motion, Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint, which added a Plaintiff and alleged violations of various California and New York laws. Defendant moved to dismiss the amended complaint. The Court granted in part and denied in part Defendant’s motion.
