Notice announcing a meeting of the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee. The meeting is being convened to examine the full spectrum of fruit and vegetable industry issues and provide recommendations and ideas to the Secretary of Agriculture on how the USDA can tailor programs and services to better meet the needs of the U.S. produce industry. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE 

Final rule announcing that the FWS published a final rule (January 7 rule) defining the scope of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act as it applies to conduct resulting in the injury or death of migratory birds protected by the act. FWS now revokes that rule. Info here.

Proposed rule advising the public that FWS intends to gather information necessary to develop a proposed rule to authorize the incidental taking or killing of migratory birds, including determining when, to what extent, and by what means it is consistent with the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
