ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

FARM CREDIT ADMINISTRATION

Proposed rule announcing that FCA is extending the comment period on its proposed rule that would revise the regulatory capital requirements for Farm Credit System institutions to define and establish a risk-weight for high volatility commercial real estate exposures. Info here.

FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE

Notice announcing that FWS invites the public to comment on the applications to conduct certain activities with foreign species that are listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act (ESA). With some exceptions, the ESA prohibits activities with listed species unless Federal authorization is issued that allows such activities. The ESA also requires that we invite public comment before issuing permits for any activity otherwise prohibited by the ESA with respect to any endangered species. Info here.

FOREST SERVICE

Notice announcing that the Forest Service intends to reestablish the Charter of the Black Hills National Forest Advisory Board. The purpose of the Board is to obtain advice and recommendations on a broad range of forest issues such as forest plan revisions or amendments, forest health including fire management and mountain pine beetle infestations, travel management, forest monitoring and evaluation, recreation fees, and site-specific projects having forest wide implications.
