This regulation establishes tolerances for residues of zoxamide in or on onion, bulb, subgroup 3-07A. Gowan Company requested these tolerances under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA). The Federal Register is available here.
This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of polyoxyalkylated trimethylopropanes with 20 to 80 moles of ethylene and/or propylene oxide, fatty acid esters with C 8 through C 22 aliphatic alkanoic and/or alkenoic fatty acids, branched or linear, the resulting polyoxyalkylene trimethylopropane esters having a minimum molecular weight (MW) of 3,000 when used as an inert ingredient in a pesticide chemical formulation.
Spring Trading Co., on behalf of Croda, Inc., submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance. This regulation also eliminates the need to establish a maximum tolerance level for polyoxyalkylated trimethylopropanes residue on food or feed commodities. The Federal Register is available here.
Both of the regulations are in effect July 18, 2014. Objections and requests for hearings must be received on or before September 16, 2014, and must be filed in accordance with the instructions provided in 40 CFR part 178.
