The Federal Trade Commission amended its rules and regulations under the Wool Products Labeling Act of 1939 to conform to the requirements of the Wool Suit Fabric Labeling Fairness and International Standards Conforming Act. The Federal Register Notice is available here.
The Wool Suit Fabric Labeling Fairness and International Standards Conforming Act revised the labeling requirements for cashmere and certain other wool products to align with the amended rules and regulations under the Textile and Fiber Products Identification Act.
The effective date is July 7, 2014.
