The Wisconsin Law Review Symposium, “Safety and Sustainability in the Era of Food Systems: Reaching a More Integrated Approach,” will take place on October 31, 2013 from 8 am to 6 pm at the Madison Concourse Hotel – Wisconsin Ballroom, Second Floor. 
 
This free symposium will draw together practitioners and scholars to discuss a broader systems-oriented approach to the issues of safe and sustainable food production.  Topics include food safety, food and agricultural law, labor law, environmental law, property law and intellectual property.  The symposium will feature keynote speaker, Olivier De Schutter, United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food.
